BIRTH DOULA
The word 'doula' comes from the ancient Greek word meaning 'a woman who serves.'
It is now the name given to a trained and experienced professional who provides continuous physical, emotional and informational support to the mother before, during and after the birth of her baby.
As a birth doula I will:

As a birth doula I will:
- recognise that every labour and birth is unique.
- assist with the preparation and implementing of the birth plan.
- provide physical and emotional support to the mother throughout the labour and birth.
- provide support to the partner and birthing assistants throughout the labour and birth.
- As a Homeopathic Birth Doula I can also prescribe Homeopathic remedies as required or desired to support the birthing process.
